Cassandra graduated from the Architectural Construction Engineering Technology Program at Conestoga College in 2015, launching her career by drafting working drawings for custom homes. Over her 10 years in the construction industry, primarily in residential projects, she has honed expertise in everything from project coordination to site supervision, managing projects from land acquisition to client turnover. Cassandra’s drive for continual learning and hands-on experience aligns seamlessly with her work in the deep foundation industry. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in nature, gardening, and exploring holistic health, with a particular interest in medicinal herbs and personal growth.

David McNair B.Eng
Junior QA/QC Engineer
Dave is a recent graduate of McGill University’s Civil Engineering program, with concentrations in structural and geotechnical engineering. Eager to expand his expertise in deep foundation systems, he brings a strong work ethic and hands-on experience to the EBS team. Dave has always enjoyed working outdoors, and his background includes working on golf courses, concrete testing, and six years on a vegetable farm. While his name may not set him apart from others at EBS, his love for the Habs certainly does.

Dario Sirianni B.A.Sc, EIT
Geostructural Engineer
Dario has a multi-disciplinary background, bringing construction, municipal government and engineering experience to his role at EBS. Obtaining his Civil Engineering degree from the University of Ottawa in 2020, Dario began in Hydrotechnical Engineering and Research, being published in fluvial and coastal engineering studies, working in collaboration with Canada’s initiative towards developing design guidelines for climate-resilient infrastructure. Thereafter, Dario worked globally in the mining industry as a marine structural and field engineer before joining the EBS team. In his off time, Dario enjoys woodworking, doing home renovations, and spending time on the rugby pitch.

Jason Bowes
Drilling Superintendent
With nearly 15 years of experience in the construction industry, Jason brings a wide range of skills and abilities to EBS, including 10 years as a general contractor specializing in heavy civil construction. His extensive experience working with EBS GEO as a subcontractor gives him a deep understanding of EBS operations. Jason lends his skills to both the micropile and helical crews, helping them navigate field challenges. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, whether exploring nature or gathering around a table for a good meal.

Chad Smith P.Eng
Senior Project Manager
Graduated in 2000 from Ryerson University’s school of engineering. A varied career that included working abroad for equipment procurement and testing, construction of new pharmaceutical processing buildings and cleanrooms, before transitioning into heavy civil construction. Large and small diameter foundations drilling and shoring applications, completing projects with most of the major players in the Ontario construction landscape over 20+ years of experience. Spare time hobbies include building and maintaining a backyard hockey rink, road and mountain biking, running and playing guitar.

Tito Nunes B.Des
Multimedia Designer
Tito is a seasoned Graphic and 3D Designer with a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving through design. A graduate of OCAD University with a Bachelor of Design (BDes), he brings a thoughtful and strategic approach to branding and visual communication. With a background in illustration and photography, his expertise spans conceptual design, 3D modeling, animation, and interactive media, making him a versatile asset to the EBS team.
Beyond design, Tito has a deep fascination with astronomy. When he’s not crafting compelling visuals, he enjoys exploring nature with his camera and spending time with his family and dog.

Melissa Bye
Corporate Services Specialist
Melissa is a Conestoga College graduate with a diploma in Marketing and has worked in the Construction and Industrial industry ever since. She is certified as a Lead Internal Auditor for COR, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001. Melissa has a wide span of experience and skills due to her work in various departments including Marketing, Health and Safety, Quality Control and ISO, and Administration. Melissa enjoys spending time with her family and travelling to new countries. Her organizational skills lead the Administrative department at EBS.

David Becker
Marketing Manager
Joining the EBS team from the ‘agency’ world, David brings a defined marketing vision and focus to the firm. His experience and expertise working with a variety of audiences and industries has given him the knack of understanding all facets of a project. Skilled in photography, marketing strategy, and content development, David’s main focus and passion is effective communications and how it impacts audiences.
David enjoys his small town living with his wife, four children and two dogs; all which leaves him with little time for an ‘actual hobby’.

Matt Dannemann
Helical Superintendent
Having joined EBS in 2000, Matt didn’t foresee the career path he was embarking on. Matt is a natural in his role, having started as a Labourer, progressing to Operator, Lead Hand, Foreman, and currently as our Helical Drilling Superintendent. His experience and knowledge gained at EBS is an asset in guiding our crews and projects to successful completion. Matt has completed some of the most complex and challenging projects for EBS during his career. When Matt isn’t guiding our crews, he spends time with his wife, Janeen, and their Labrador Retriever, Timber, cheering on his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs. Go LEAFS!

Scott Hehn C.E.T., GSC
Drilling Superintendent
Scott brings over 28 years of Construction experience to EBS, having contributed to EBS in our formative years, Scott went onto other challenges before returning to the EBS team. His Construction Engineering Technology diploma compliments his role, supporting our continued growth, leading our Micropile Division. Scott's planning and problem-solving skills are always relied upon to ensure the most efficient approach is utilized to keep projects on time. In his free time, Scott enjoys camping with his family and dog Ruckus, home renovating, and - like many of his fellow Canadians - playing and coaching hockey.

Devena Fadelli NCSO
Manager, Environment, Health and Safety
Devena is an NCSO (National Construction Safety Officer), a graduate of Sheridan College (Community Services), and Conestoga College (Human Resources) with over 17 years of experience in construction. Her safety philosophy is, "everyone understands they are a vital part of the safety culture." Devena is committed to ensuring staff, clients and the communities we construct in are as safe as possible. Devena is a classic muscle car enthusiast and currently, she is inspired by translating, cooking and baking from her Italian Grandmother's handwritten recipes with no complaints from her friends or family.

Dave Collins Dip. Technology
Operations Manager
With over 24 years experience in the construction industry, Dave Collins joined the EBS team in 2010. A graduate of Conestoga College’s Mechanical Engineering and Technology program, Dave is also a professionally qualified machinist and machine tool integrator. Building on his extensive experience in the field, Dave manages our maintenance, field support, logistics, and inventory. Outside of working hours, Dave enjoys camping, golfing and spending time with family and friends.

Braxton Collins-Robb B.Tech
Project Manager
Joining EBS part-time in 2015 as a student, Braxton is now a graduate of Conestoga Colleges Bachelor of Applied Technology (Honours) – Architecture Project and Facility Management Program in 2023. Braxton brings experience in project management, cost estimation, data management, and efficient practices. At EBS, Braxton works with helping improve processes and systems and works with the Project Management Team. In his spare time, Braxton enjoys camping, mountain biking, and spending time with family and friends.

Dave Godin P.Eng
Project Manager
Graduating with a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo in 2014, Dave began his career in the heavy civil construction industry, gaining experience in earth retention systems, deep foundation (large and small diameter), and other geostructural solutions. Dave's attention to detail and preparation are assets that ensure he fits right in with our Project Management team, delivering real solutions to challenging design-build projects at EBS.
Float fishing for steelhead trout, throwing a lacrosse ball around, and walking the extensive trail system with his wife Jillian through his hometown of Guelph are some of Dave's favourite things.

Brian Huber C.E.T.
Senior Project Manager
Holding a Civil Engineering Technology diploma from Conestoga College, Brian joined the Project Management team at EBS in 2013. He brought experience in construction inspection, contract administration, and engineering surveying. Brian is committed to effective onsite operations and safety. In his spare time, Brian enjoys woodworking, fishing, hunting and outdoor activities.

Tayler Cook
Business Development Manager
A graduate of University of Waterloo’s Environmental Engineering program, Tayler’s unique background is a tremendous asset to the EBS project management team. He brings with him experience in environmental remediation and of overseeing helical pile and micropile installation and load testing. Tayler always brings a positive energy to the workforce and is one to point out unique solutions to challenges. Whenever he has the opportunity, he devotes his spare time to hunting and fishing.

Trevor Quayle M.A.Sc., P. Eng
Engineering Manager
Trevor obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 1998 and his Masters of Applied Science in 2005. He has been licensed as a Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario since 2009.
Trevor is an experienced Geostructural engineer and a leading design expert in the areas of micropiles, helical piles and displacement piles. His other areas of experience and expertise include other geostructural and foundation design applications, reinforced concrete and structural steel design, and assessment and remediation of foundations and structural building components.

Amber Elliott
Operations Coordinator
Graduating from Conestoga College with a diploma in Executive Office Administration, Amber brings strong customer service, and event coordination skill set. Her family had her around the construction industry since she was a young girl, but the world of deep foundations is new territory. Amber always brings a can-do attitude to the office and is keen to grow her current skills and expand her knowledge base with EBS. In her spare time, Amber is an avid concert-goer and spends lots of time visiting family and friends.

Joe Heinisch P. Eng
Manager QA/QC
A graduate of Western’s Civil/Environmental Engineering program and Fanshawe's Business Marketing Program, Joe Heinisch received his Professional Engineer’s License in 2003. Starting his career with 6 years in soil and groundwater remediation for EBS's affiliate, C3 Environmental Ltd., Joe transferred to our company in 2005 as a Project Manager and later became QA/QC Manager. Joe’s extensive knowledge and experience give him significant insight into the feasibility of helical foundations for numerous applications. Outside of working hours, Joe enjoys spending time with family, camping, and coaching and playing hockey.

Jason Bindseil B.A., E.T.
Vice President & General Manager
Jason Bindseil joined EBS in 1999 after completing a BA in Environmental Policy at Brock University and a graduate diploma in Environmental Engineering and Technology at Conestoga College. Appointed VP & GM in 2011, Jason’s 19 years of experience in heavy civil construction have seen him develop new markets and techniques within the deep foundation industry. A firm proponent of relationship building, Jason is focused on applying his industry knowledge to help forge strong client relationships that last. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with family and unleashing his skills on the soccer pitch.

President
Receiving his Professional Engineer’s License in 1997, Dino Vito anchors the EBS team with 22 years of experience in deep foundations. A graduate of the University of Waterloo, where he completed both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Applied Science with a specialty in Geotechnical Engineering, Dino has long been the driving force behind EBS’s growth and expansion. Not one to rest for long, Dino enjoys spending time with family and engaging in physical fitness when not planning our company’s next move.
