About the event
Join our half-day seminar, where we delve into the intricacies of Micropiles and Olivier Displacement Piles. This seminar is for Geotechnical and Structural Engineers and construction professionals who want to know more about these two pivotal solutions and when to use them.
Micropiles are small diameter, drilled and grouted reinforced piles. Micropiles are non-displacement piles, usually 300 mm or less in diameter. The piles have a steel reinforcement achieved with a hi-tensile threadbar. Micropiles are designed as friction piles and are capable of large axial loads.
We will also unravel the advantages and applications of Olivier Displacement Piles, a remarkable solution that effectively develops capacities between 1000 to 3000 kN per pile within soils with "n" values of 10-30 blows without spoils or vibration.
Join us to gain valuable insights, practical knowledge, and the latest advancements that are shaping the future of foundation engineering and earn 4 hours towards your continuing professional development (CPD).
