A long span of transmission towers for guy wires was proposed from Bay d'Espoir to the Avalon Peninsula in Newfoundland. The scope of work required that four micropile anchors be installed per transmission tower. The project was designed so that transmission towers were strategically placed one kilometre apart. This design required EBS to install a set of guy anchors in one location and then move on to the next. EBS was chosen to complete this project because of our ability to perform quick mobilizations, minimal support required, as well as our efficient drilling.

PROBLEM:
The project was designed so that transmission towers were strategically placed one kilometre apart. This design required EBS to install a set of guy anchors in one location and then move on to the next. Other construction challenges included:
No access to water for drilling
Limited access and resources with no specific site

SOLUTION:
EBS was chosen to complete this project because of our ability to perform quick mobilizations, minimal support required, as well as our efficient drilling.
