Tim Hortons Highway #11 North

The site was comprised of loose soil overtop of bedrock, as well as a high water table. The site conditions required a deep foundation solution and a quick mobilization. Helical piles were determined to be the most cost-effective solution. EBS Geostructural was retained to design, supply, and install (70) CHANCE® Helical Piles to bedrock to support the Highway #11 Tim Horton’s. EBS was chosen to complete the project because of smaller equipment which has less of an impact on site, as well as installation without vibrations or spoils.
