Design-Build Shoring

Bell Canada required a shoring system to install a fibre optic chamber on a high traffic downtown street. The existing roadway, structures/footings and utilities in close proximity to the excavation needed protection. The roadway was still in use during construction operations. EBS provided a design-build shoring system which utilized vertical micropiles as soldier piles to allow construction personnel to enter a 3.5 metre deep excavation safely.
Depth: 6 metres (drilling into shale bedrock)
