New Mausoleum

Toronto, Ontario

Mount Pleasant cemetery owners had plans to build a mausoleum in an urban location without causing severe disturbance to the adjacent residential structures. Construction noise and vibrations were a concern for the owners and designers during planning. The surface soils in the area were not suitable for bearing the foundations, therefore, a deep foundation solution was required.

EBS Geostructural worked with Pretium Anderson and Golder Associates to provide a foundation solution using the Chance® Helical Pier system.
