Woodstock General Hospital
- Location
- Woodstock, Ontario
A proposed hospital in Woodstock, Ontario was to be constructed and required the foundation to resist compression, tension and lateral loads during a seismic event. The design team, including EBS evaluated the loading and soils information and determined that helical piles were the most cost efficient option.
Compression Load: 890kN (200 kips)
Tension Load: 712kN (160 kips)
Depth: 4.6 to 9 metres
Total Number of Helical Piles: 588
