EBS can design and install either helical piles or micropiles to support the increased load requirements on an existing foundation for a vertical expansion. The installation of helical piles or micropiles can be completed on the exterior or interior of the structure with tight access, low headroom equipment producing limited vibration and spoils. Dewatering is not required for the installation of helical piles or micropiles. Individual helical pile capacities of 1000kN can be achieved and micropile capacities of over 2500kN can be achieved. The systems can support existing foundations as well as new foundations within the envelope of the structure.
